Here at In the Middle (of a Good Book), we LOVE chocolate. So we are rating books on a chocolate bar scale. Obviously, the more chocolate bars, the better the book!
Four Chocolate Bars = this book was awesome, but there's room for improvement!
Three Chocolate Bars = this book was o.k.
Two Chocolate Bars = this book had some good parts, but the rest of it needed work.
One Chocolate Bar = okay, at least we won't fail our book report. (You should not read it!)
We will also give you some clues about each book's appropriateness.
Fairy Princess = no inappropriate content 
Vampire = some readers may be uncomfortable with the content or language
Death = readers should know they will encounter inappropriate content
